Rules for submission

  • The presenting author needs to ensure that all authors have read the abstract and agreed to be co-authors.
  • All the authors and co-authors should declare their affiliations.
  • The word count should not exceed 500 excluding tables, graphs and references.
  • Submission of an abstract acknowledges your acceptance for the abstract to be published on the society website.
  • Only the abstracts of registered presenting authors will be included in the final programme. 
  • The Scientific Committee will determine whether abstracts will be accepted as oral or poster presentations.


  • Author and co-authors' details:
     Full first and surname (s)
     Affiliation details: department, institution / hospital, city, state (if relevant), country
  • Abstract text – limited to 500 words

Abstracts must be submitted with the following sections:

  • Background
  • Aims & objectives 
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusions
  • References

For Consultants: £100

For Trainess, ACPs, PAs, Nurses: £50
